:: Choir BBQ! ::

Hi people! It's been a week since I last posted. hahas. Anyways, let me just update the happenings for today. :)

Ks, I had choir today... We did a 30-minutes warm up, as usual, and practiced the SYF song. I thought it was okay since I've practiced a zillion times at home, but it wasn't. Somehow, I forgot to breathe where necessary while singing and etc. Hence, it was a thumb-down. :( But I did sing out louder than before. Probably, that was the only small improvement I made. :) heehees.

Next, we had a test, as in section by section, in random groups of 4s or 5s. As what the conductress expected, all the altos failed, including me. It wasn't as scary as what I thought cos we just had to sing out moderately loud with the right techniques. We failed cos we didn't really apply all the singing techniques we were taught of. But it's fine, cos we will have another round of similar test with similar criteriae next month. :)

Actually, we were supposed to start barbecuing at 5 but it didn't start punctually due to the test. :( Frankly speaking, it started an hour plus later, which was the time we were scheduled to be released. As such, only a quarter of the choir could make it. There was lots of food and we even ordered boxes of pizza. I didn't stay throghout the barbecue but went home at around 7 plus. I guess it was quite a success cos not all the chorists could stay and by the time I left, they had only barbecued the marshmallows, fishballs and nuggets... But still, it was quite successful since the seniors, about 8, could make it even though it was delayed. Cool right? hahas.
