:: Monologues ::

I've recently browsed youtube on FT Island (but mainly on Min Hwan and Jae Jin <3 lols...) I've found Min Hwan and Jae Jin's FT Island Monologue more interesting than the rest and I've decided to post on this topic.

Monologue:
-noun

1. a form of dramatic entertainment, comedic solo, or the like by a single speaker: a comedian's monologue.

2. a prolonged talk or discourse by a single speaker, esp. one dominating or monopolizing a conversation.

3. any composition, as a poem, in which a single person speaks alone.

4. a part of a drama in which a single actor speaks alone; soliloquy.

For Min Hwan's monolgue, I've found this part the most appealing:

Question: Love is... (romance)

Answer (Min Hwan): Love is always tricky to define. I've posted an article once, saying, "Love is like going downhill as it is hard to stop. Affection is like going uphill. It's painful and tiring. But don't give up. Remember a downhill road awaits you. Let's give it a try!" That's what I wrote. And I totally agree that love is unstoppabe and highly addictive. I think that's love.

And I share the same thinking as him. But mine is also somewhat different...
Love(romance) is a mutual emotional agreement with each other. The feeling of it is, of course, fantastic thus it is little wonder greatly soar for. However, crush or even infatuation is like going uphill and then downhill. At the beginning, it's quite a great feeling as besides, wanting to know more about the other party, you'll also hope that he/she will by chance take note of you little heart. However, as time passes, you'll feel it's useless as the other party will not notice you at all unless you take initiative. Thus, at this point in time, it's the most tiring and painful part. It hurts so much that you may even wish to give up. However, it's never so easy. Hence, even if you wish to cease the pain, you can't cos you are already 3/4 up the hill top. After another period of struggling, you'll then reach the hilltop, at that time, your crush or infatuation will slowly decrease (finally...) as you are now descending the hill. Then, you will not feel any special feeling towards him/her anymore....
